A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious early-career forester to join our growing team as an Assistant Forester.

This is a role for someone who wants to learn fast, contribute from day one, and build a career at a consultancy doing genuinely interesting work. Our pipeline is expanding across Scotland and we need people who are ready to get stuck in. The role is based from our Perth office hub, serving Perth & Argyll and the west coast. We welcome full-time or part-time applications for this permanent post.

Our Assistant Foresters work as part of project teams, developing their technical skills and confidence across a wide range of forestry tasks. You’ll be involved across this range from early on, supported by an experienced consultant and mentor as you grow.

You will report to a Forestry Consultant who will oversee your project work and support your development day-to-day. Separately, a Mentor will also be in place to help you build your professional skills and navigate your ICF PME journey. We are a team that invests in the people who join it – this is a structured route into a project-leading role.
