The Community Forest Trust is the national champion for community forests in England. We are passionate about the power of trees to transform places and strengthen and enhance communities.
We work with many forests and Trusts throughout the UK including Cumbria Coastal Community Forest (CCCF) who are a key partner and to whom we provide support and services, including employment of staff.
This role offers employment via Community Forest Trust but the role will be dedicated to the Cumbria Coastal Community Forest to achieve their shared ecological and community goals.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Woodland Creation Adviser to join and support the CCCF Woodland Creation Forester to lead the delivery of new woodland creation and urban tree planting, and related activities at a local level to deliver the CCCF’s objectives, and maximise its environmental, economic and social benefits.
