The placement will provide you with hands-on experience in managing forestry and woodland creation projects, harvesting supervision and contract management. You will develop a working knowledge in a wide range of woodland management and environmental issues in relation to the delivery of Government policies and in compliance with Health & Safety, UK Forestry Standard, UKWAS and environmental requirements.
